Marquesa Marine carbon fiber casting platforms are designed, tested, and built to meet the highest demands of saltwater anglers and guides. Our high-performance resin system is combined with high strength aerospace grade carbon fiber through an advanced resin infusion process to create a strong and lightweight platform. With a triple UV protection process, our platforms are built to last.

The Marquesa Marine Step Platform is designed to mount on the rear deck in front of the poling platform allowing a safe way to climb onto and off of the poling platform. With 15 inch legs, the Step Platform serves as a mid way point between the poling platform and the rear deck, reducing fatigue and noise while increasing safety. The Step Platform will fit the Maverick 17 and 18 skiffs with the standard leg configuration.

The Marquesa Marine Step Platform top weighs only 4 pounds. With 15-inch legs and a SeaDek foam pad, the entire system weighs 6.3 pounds.

Step Platform Legs

Marquesa Marine Step Platform legs are fully removable, allowing for easy shipping and storage. Each leg has a 316 stainless steel stud that screws into a threaded receiver on the underside of the casting platform. The Step Platform comes standard with 15" legs which gives you a finished height of 16.5" above the deck of the boat. The 15" legs will provide enough height for clearance of the livewell hatch lid on the Maverick 17 and 18 skiffs. The Step Platform can also be used as a cockpit step to access the bow with shorter legs. Please call or email us to discuss custom leg options for various applications.

SeaDek Foam Pad

All Marquesa Marine carbon fiber casting platforms come standard with a SeaDek foam pad of your color choice.

Step Platform Mounting

Marquesa Marine Step Platforms are supplied with one standard eye bolt to attach a turnbuckle on the underside of the platform. A turnbuckle Size C (not included), an extended eye bolt (not included), and our threaded deck bolt (not included) are reccomeded to mount the platform to the deck of your boat. Step platforms can also be mounted to an existing deck cleat on your boat using a stainless carabiner or hook style turnbuckle (your local marine store should carry these components).
